The Old County hall, designed by Andrew J. Warner, is the only significant example of High Victorian Gothic architecture in Buffalo and was completed in 1876. Grover Cleveland began his political career there when it was the City and County Hall. The four statues on the corners of the tower a huge figures representing Justice, Mechanical Arts, Agriculture, and Commerce.
