St. Paul's is the cathedral of the Episcopal Diocese of Buffalo. Designed by architect Richard Upjohn, the Gothic Revival style was drawn from 13th century churches of rural England. The interior, redesigned by Robert Gibson in 1890 as part of reconstruction after a gas line explosion, is noted for stunning stained glass. The cathedral is on the National Register of Historic Places. Also note Louis Sullivan's Guaranty Building peaking through the trees to the right.
